'SO PROUD TO BE PART OF IT'
Post reporter RACHEL MOSES-LLOYD joined Friday night's midnight walk.
AS soon as I was told about this fantastic and unusual event, I jumped at the chance to take part.
Ty Hafan means so much to me, not only because I used to work for the charity, but also because it is so important to those families who have no choice but to use it. On Friday night it was an honour to meet those well-known names who had given up their time for the charity, Nev, Hayley and Ragsy.
But the biggest honour was to meet the true celebs of the evening — mums like Nikki — who lovingly take care of their unwell children each and every night.
Although on Saturday afternoon I was still suffering with aching muscles, it was all worth it to know that the funds I have raised — thanks to colleagues, friends and family — will go to help some truly special children and their wonderful, inspirational families at the Ty Hafan hospice.
