AARON Jarvis will tomorrow complete a personal hat-trick that has made 2012 the best year of his life.

The treble chance started for the Ospreys' prop when his wife gave birth to their son Charlie in the summer.

Then he won his first cap for Wales — and now he is looking forward to facing world rugby's number one side, New Zealand.

"It's been a hell of a year," said the 26-year-old tight-head.

"I became a father for the first time in the summer and my son is five months old now. Then I won my first cap and now I'm playing against the All Blacks.

"The rugby has been surreal. When you have a moment to think about things, you think: 'Wow, this has happened. It's a fantastic experience.

"It all makes for an unbelievable 2012.

"Playing against the All Blacks will put the cherry on the cake. It's been the best year of my life."

The England-born player received rave reviews after making his Wales debut against Argentina, Rob Howley calling his performance "excellent" and many pundits making him their Welsh man of the match.

Wales's scrum came under pressure in the final quarter against Samoa last week, but Jarvis is looking forward to the challenge of facing the Kiwis.

"Tony Woodcock, my opponent tomorrow, is world class," he said.

"I know Adam (Jones) has played against him a number of times, so I'll probably talk to him before the game because he knows what he's about.

"The whole experience is going to be special, including the haka, which I watched from afar as a kid and thought how incredible it was.

"I am going to savour it all and give the best account of myself that I possibly can."
