NEATH Port Talbot College has appointed a new vice-principal for corporate services for the NPTC Group.

Catherine Lewis, who works as a commercial lawyer, is an active participant in the south-west Wales branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is well known to businesses in Wales as well as the further education sector, having acted as an adviser to many Welsh FE colleges.

On her appointment, Ms Lewis said: "I am looking forward to working in such an inspiring part of the education sector.

"Neath Port Talbot College has been leading the way in innovation and I am looking forward to being able to use my experience to help the commercial side of the college develop even further."
