THERE'S more than a splash of colour beginning to brighten up Swansea's High Street.

The latest in a series of art works across the city has been created on the facade of No. 230 above the home of Volcano Theatre Company.

The work is by British artist Sinta Tantra and is inspired by a quote by American writer Truman Capote. It features layers of abstract spreads of geometric colour with two giant gold palm trees.

London-based Tantra said: "I'm fascinated by the way in which architecture and public art lead our bodies in certain directions across the city."
