Neil's a wheely worthy nominee!
AT a time when cycling in Britain is seeing unprecedented success, it is a testament to Neil Hunt and the Towy Riders that the Carmarthen club still stands out from the crowd.
Based at Carmarthen Park the 40-odd-strong group are one of the largest in the UK.
And Mr Hunt, who is a support worker with Canolfan Elfed, a special unit based at Queen Elizabeth School, has led them to a successful start to the 2011 season.
Former Carmarthen mayor Alan Speake nominated Mr Hunt for Grassroots Sports Coach of the Year.

The club has got off to a flying start in 2011.
In the build up to the first National Youth Series race a group of riders competed in the second event of the Shrewsbury Circuit Series.
They came away with a total of three wins and three podium places.
Under-8 rider Joshua Tarling started the ball rolling with a fine win over strong opposition before Jess Roberts dominated the under-12 girls event.
The standout performance of the event came from Scott Davies who broke away early on in the under-16 boys event.

“Neil hunt the *****, I wouldn't and no one else should trust him working with children. The pervert has been found out sending sexual texts to a young teenage girl and standing in his bedroom window flashing at girls waking past his house. How is he still working in a school and as head coach is beyond belief.”
