Neil Taylor says Chris Coleman has Wales players' backing
NEIL Taylor insists the Welsh squad is still behind manager Chris Coleman.
The national boss has come under fire after a 3-0 home defeat to Serbia sent Wales crashing to the bottom of their World Cup qualifying group.
Coleman has agreed a new two-year contract to remain in position.
And Taylor revealed the former Fulham boss has the dressing room’s total support.
“I think it’s an easy question for me to answer, he has got the backing of the players,” said the Swansea City left-back, who missed Tuesday’s loss with a thigh injury.
“It seems like he’s been there a long time, but in international football it’s not a long time.
“He needs all his players out there fit and he didn’t have that for these last two games.
“You need continuity.
“I know the boys like playing for him, with his style of football.
“He’s passionate and he’s Welsh and the boys definitely like playing for him.”
