Neil Taylor in contention for Swansea City's Capital One Cup clash against Birmingham
NEIL Taylor could feature for Swansea City in the Capital One Cup against Birmingham tomorrow (7.45)after recovering from a thigh injury.
The left-back has not played since Swansea’s Europa League away clash with Petrolul Ploiesti just over three weeks ago.
Taylor sustained a dead leg which became more severe after he suffered some internal bleeding.
But the Welsh international has battled back from the problem and should start at St Andrew’s.
“I’ve done a few days training now so hopefully I can get some game time,” he said.
“We’ve kept the squad fit, I think it was just me and Pablo (Hernandez) that were injured for the last match.
“I’m back now and Pablo’s not far away so we should have pretty much a fully fit squad.
“That’s perfect for the fixture list we’ve got coming.
“It’s a cup, it’s one we won last year and we want to do really well in it.
“We’ve won a trophy now as a club and it would be great if we could do it again.”
