A NEATH man has appeared in court charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply.

Ronnie Anthony Jacques, 32, of Pant Yr Heol entered no plea when he appeared before Neath magistrates yesterday.

Jacques is charged with being caught with approximately 21 grams of heroin on his person on January 15.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction and Jacques was remanded into custody to appear before Swansea Crown Court on Friday, January 25.
