Neath artist celebrates turning 102
A NEATH artist has marked his 102nd birthday.
It was just two-years-old when James Mills held his first ever exhibition to mark his 100th birthday.
Mr Mills, who started painting in his teens, still enjoys his hobbie and lives independently at Heol Isaf in Cimla.
His granddaughter Nicola Lewis said they had a family gathering today to mark his special birthday.
"He really enjoyed getting lots of cards and some presents," she said.
"We are also going out for a family meal so he is looking forward to that."
One being asked how did he feel turning 102, Mr Mills said: "I have gone back now to 101 now. I'm going back!"
