Neath Port Talbot Hospital station, Radio Phoenix, celebrates 25 years of broadcasting with concert
A HOSPITAL radio station is celebrating its 25th year of broadcasting.
To mark the occasion, Radio Phoenix is calling on the people of Neath Port Talbot to enjoy a concert with talent from across the county to mark the occasion.
The station based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Baglan Moors, first took to the airwaves at the old Neath General site on March 25, 1988, and will celebrate its quarter-century with an anniversary concert this Friday, March 22, at Margam Orangery, from 7.30pm.
Radio Phoenix is a charity station, run by volunteers, for the patients and staff of the hospital.

Those supporting the charity by performing on the night will include Bill Bennett, Neath Male Voice Choir and the station's own Alan Morgan, among others.
