Neath Port Talbot Council to aid those affected by Tata Steel job cuts
NEATH Port Talbot Council has confirmed it will play its part in helping those affected by the Tata job losses.
Welsh Liberal Democrat AM for South Wales West Peter Black (pictured) said: "While I welcome the fact that Tata Steel and the Welsh Government are establishing a joint task force to identify ways of supporting local people and communities at this time, the local council needs to be part of that task force too."

In response, council leader Ali Thomas said: "The council regrets the job losses and will do all it can to support the work of the Welsh Government task force through its knowledge and connections to the local jobs market and training opportunities."
