Nathan Dyer no longer on Twitter today
SWANSEA City winger Nathan Dyer has been true to his word.
He announced yesterday he was quitting Twitter.
The 25-year-old made the announcement via @NathDyer87 on which he said: “Deleting twitter later! Not even worth it anymore!”
Today, @NathDyer87 was failing to show up on Twitter, or if it did, there were no tweets to be seen.
Dyer had been infrequent on Twitter of late, his last post prior to his farwell tweet being on August 13.
Previous Twitter quitters have included:
*Miley Cyrus - @MileyCyrus - who wanted to keep her “private life private”, but returned after 17 months;
*Ashton Kutcher - @aplusk - following a controversial tweet about Penn State football coach Jo Paterno - his feed is now run by his management;
*Chris Brown - @chrisbrown - following a nasty exchange with comedian Jenny Johnson - he came back after a week;
*Megan Fox - @meganfox - saying it was too much to handle, and;
*Kanye West - @kanyewest - who tweeted ‘Be Back Soon’ and disappeared from the network for two days.
