Narberth 15 Carmarthen Quins 36
CARMARTHEN Quins eased into the second round of the Swalec Cup with a comfortable win at Narberth.
The game could have been viewed as a potential upset, with the Otters one of the form teams in the Swalec Championship.

But the Quins have also been in fine form of late and never looked like coming off second best in this encounter.
The Premiership side were in command from as early as the first minute when they grabbed their opening try from centre Alex Pickersgill.

And with the benefit of the slope and a strong wind behind them, the visitors went on to dominate the rest of the opening period.
By half-time they were 31-3 in front, having claimed a further four tries.
Former Swansea scrum-half Rhodri Wells grabbed two of the touchdowns, with others claimed by centre Rheon James and full-back Chris Banfield.
But with the benefit of the elements in the second half, Narberth made it much more of a contest.
Fly-half Stuart Morris scored their first try, while a penalty try for a trip on centre Steve Martin gave Narberth a further boost.
But the Quins had the final say with Banfield crossing for his second.
