NPTC Group and Powys County Council look to develop new facility
NEWLY-FORMED NPTC Group and Powys County Council are looking to develop a new learning campus in Brecon.
It will replace a secondary school and further education college facilities, and will also help to modernise leisure and other council services.
The council and the college — formerly known as Neath Port Talbot College and Coleg Powys — have been invited to submit an outline case for funding by the Welsh Government after initial plans for the project were approved.
Mark Dacey CEO of the NPTC Group said: "This will be a centre for lifelong learning, health and fitness, entrepreneurship and employment, bringing together the key success factors to personal and economic growth under one centre. This is a very exciting proposal for Brecon, and for Wales."
