NPT Homes leaseholders could be entitled to a free boiler
NPT Homes leaseholders who are facing difficulty heating their homes may be able to get a free boiler.
The social landlord, together with Warm Wales Cymru Gynnes, are working together to provide free replacement gas boilers.
Eligible leaseholders, their tenants or someone living in the house who are in receipt of key benefits, could receive a new boiler.
Director of assets at NPT Homes, Steve Tucker, said: "This is a great scheme as the Government estimates a new energy efficient boiler could save between £190 and £240 a year on average household heating bills.
"Given the savings that can be made, we're keen to encourage as many of our leaseholders as possible to check if they qualify for a new boiler."
Assistant projects director at Warm Wales Cymru Gynnes, Helen Perkins, added: "We're really pleased with the number of families we've been able to assist on the scheme so far, from pensioners in their 90s, single parent families and families with young children."
