Musical tour captured in Technicolor
A CAMEL from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been on a whistle-stop tour of Swansea.
He can be seen performing Any Dream Will Do from the hit musical on his travels on a video now on internet site YouTube.
He has visited city locations including Rhossili Bay, Oystermouth Castle and Swansea Market to promote the arrival of the show at the Grand Theatre next week.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, starring Ian 'H' Watkins from Steps, is being held at the theatre from Tuesday September 10 to Saturday September 14.
It re-tells the Biblical story of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours.
Swansea Council runs the Grand Theatre.
Cabinet member for regeneration Nick Bradley said: "Staff at the Grand Theatre have always been creative when it comes to marketing shows and other entertainment being held there, but they've really upped their game with the advent of social media.
"Earlier this year, their rendition of Grease Lightning was a huge hit in advance of the show's arrival and this latest video shows they're determined to build on that success.
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a fantastic production that people of all ages in Swansea will enjoy.
"The promotional video will help generate a considerable amount of interest over the next week or so."
Ian Watkins became a household name in the 1990s as part of Steps, a pop group who scored three number one albums.
He's also starred in other West End productions, including Make Me a Song, Fame and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Other locations featured in the video include Mumbles, the Liberty Stadium, the Sailbridge, Meridian Quay and the Grand Theatre itself.
