Murder suspect still held over Cwmbran body
A 39-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in Cwmbran, is still being questioned by police this morning.
Police have been given more time to question him about the dead man, believed to be in his 40s, who was found at an address in Maendy Way, Pontnewydd on Friday.
Police say they have yet to formally identify the body or establish the exact cause of death. Anyone with information is asked to to call 101.
Further tests will be carried out on the body to establish the cause of death as a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.
