Motorist injured in motorway collision
A MOTORIST was injured in a two car collision on the M4 motorway this morning (25/2/13).
Ambulance crews attended the incident at 7.48am which happened between junctions 48 and 47 on the eastbound carriageway.
The collision involved a green Mazda and a black Ford Fiesta.
A spokesman for South Wales Police confirmed the Mazda went down an embankment as a result of the collision.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.48am this morning to an RTC M4 eastbound near Penllergaer.
"A patient was treated at the scene for minor injuries and not conveyed to hospital."
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Morriston, Llanelli and Pontarddulais to the scene.
South Wales Police officers were in attendance.
