Motorist failed B-test
A DRINK-driver who was spotted by police driving erratically has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
Andrew Jewell, aged 49, of Grove Road in Clydach, was driving on Pant Lasau Road in Morriston on August 24 when police stopped him because of worries over his driving.
He later admitted having 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Jewell's solicitor, Steve Burnell, told magistrates his client thought he was OK to drive after going out drinking because he had argued with his partner.
Magistrates fined Jewell £300, banned him from driving for 18 months and told him to pay £85 in costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
