Motorcyclist dies in collision
A 51-year-old motorcyclist has died following collision on the A482 between Pumsaint and Crugybar.
The Trumph motorcycle collided with a Peugeot 206 at 11.32am on Sunday and the 51-year-old biker from West Yorkshire was declared dead at the scene.
Police closed the road to investigate the collision shortly after 11.30am and it is not yet known if the road has reopened.
Two women who were in the car were taken to Glangwili Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and shock.
A police spokesman said on Sunday: "At 11:32hrs a fatal Road Traffic Collision between a Triumph Motorcycle and a light blue Peugeot 206 occurred on the A482 Crugybar between Llanwrda & Lampeter.
"A 51yr Old male motorcyclist from the West Yorkshire area died at the scene. His family have been notified."
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "We made the area safe, nobody was trapped, as such.
She added two crews, from Llandovery and Lampeter, were involved.
Dyfed Powys Police RPU is appealing for anybody with information about the collision to call them on 101.
