Mortgage relief joy
A SCHEME to help first-time buyers on to the property ladder has been praised by Welsh Lib Dems.
Mid and West Wales AM William Powell welcomed news that the Government mortgage guarantee scheme will be rolled out from next spring. It will be available to all first-time buyers from £3,000 up to the value of £250,000.

He said: "This was a scheme put forward by the Welsh Lib Dems in last year's Welsh Government budget negotiations. It will help potential buyers who need help with their upfront deposit as well as helping to stimulate the economy. It will be of particular assistance in rural areas."
