MICHAEL Laudrup's new assistant Morten Wieghorst says he had no hesitation in leaving his role as a manager to become the No. 2 at Swansea City.

Wieghorst was in charge of Denmark's Under-21 side for almost two years before moving to the Liberty, and he can also boast of a further five years' experience as the boss of Champions League side Nordsjaelland.

And although the former Celtic midfielder admitted it was difficult to leave his post in Denmark, he is relishing the prospect of coaching with the Swans.

"When Michael called there was no hesitation from me," he said.
