Railway passengers face 75-minute delays in South Wales today because of engineering work between Cardiff Central and Swansea.

First Great Western services between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen are running only to Cardiff Central, where buses will replace trains to Bridgend, Port Talbot Parkway, Neath, and Swansea.

The operator is warning that buses from these locations may depart earlier than scheduled to ensure connections are maintained at Cardiff Central.

Arriva Trains Wales services will be replaced by buses between Cardiff Central and Swansea / Carmarthen / Pembroke Dock / Milford Haven / Fishguard Harbour.
