GOWER Rockhoppers held their first Mini Open of 2011 on Sunday on Mumbles foreshore.

Sixty anglers fished and landed plenty of dogfish and whiting along with a few codling.

A total of 28 anglers brought fish back to the scales, with dogfish making up the full prize table.

1st Sally Owen, Llantwit Major 1240g winning £250; 2nd Thomas Williams, Barry, 1020g winning £150; 3rd Chris Isaac, Swansea, 920g £100; 4th Darren Hardy, Swansea, 880g £50; 5th Gary Davies, Swansea, 860g £40.
