Michu signs new deal with Swansea City
SPANISH sensation Michu has signed a new deal with Swansea City.
The 26-year-old has agreed a new four-year contract that will keep him at the Liberty Stadium until 2016.

Michu has taken the Premier League by storm since his summer switch from Rayo Vallecano, scoring 16 goals from 28 appearances.
"It was an easy decision for me," he said. "I am living a dream here at Swansea.

"I'm probably enjoying my football more than ever. It's easy to play with this team.

Michu began his career with Real Oviedo before moving to Celta de Vigo B in 2007.
In June 2011 he signed a two-year deal with Rayo Vallecano, where he scored 15 league goals last season.
He has maintained that superb form with Swansea.
He added: "I'm happy here. I've read and listened to all the speculation, but it doesn't interest me, and that's why I've signed a new contract.

Even if you dont maintain your current goal ratio, I am sure you will always be a threat and you got that fighting spirit we like in Wales.
Swansea are a club on a constant rise, I hope ML commits longer too, I reckon its the perfect club for him to build something really special here. There are no politics, happy fans, money in the bank, training ground in development, a wembley final on the plate.

“If we ever needed a pick me leading into tonights game is that our talisman striker has seen it fit to sign an extension to his contract. “Last week I moaned that at Arsenal The Swans were not good.
Trouble is Michael Laudrup and the Team has provided such great entertaining, hard playing, committed and exciting football, we forget they cannot win all the time. So to The Swans and ML I apologise for expecting too much.
That said Well Done to HJ and ML in extending Michu's contract. So great to have Michu singing the praises too, of Swansea City FC, The Fans, The Players and Swansea the City.
A real honest humble player like ML and the rest of the boys as well.
The Swans have come from humble beginings but have well and truly put Swansea City FC on the football map.
Hope Michu gets a Hat Trick tonight...maybe hoping too much , but you never know.Good Luck to the boys tonight.
