Michael Laudrup expecting Leroy Lita to leave Swansea City
MICHAEL Laudrup has tipped Leroy Lita to leave Swansea City soon amid suggestions that Sheffield Wednesday are back in for the striker.
Laudrup made it clear to Lita in pre-season that he was not part of his plans.
And though Lita, who has less than a year to run on his Swansea contract, has not departed as yet, Laudrup believes the 28-year-old frontman is ready to say his goodbyes.
"Leroy really wants to play regularly," Laudrup said, "and I can't guarantee him the chance to do that here.
"We always try to help players, and I think it's best for him to go on loan somewhere.
"I think in a short period of time, we will know the future club of Leroy."
Lita spent time on loan at Birmingham and Wednesday last season.
And according to reports, Owls boss Dave Jones is set to make a second loan move for the former Middlesbrough man.
