Michael Laudrup excited by Swansea City's future — but he's not sure how he long he will be part of it
MICHAEL Laudrup intends to be in charge of a "very interesting" Swansea City side next season — but cannot say whether he will last three years at the Liberty.
Laudrup expects to see out the two-year contract he signed when he took the reins from Brendan Rodgers last summer.

But although he says suggestions that he will be offered an extended deal are positive, the Dane is no rush to open talks with the club.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the Evening Post this week that he wants Laudrup to commit to Swansea for at least one more season beyond his current deal. But Laudrup has shied away from making any bold statements about his future ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash with Queens Park Rangers.

"Obviously when people want you to stay it's because they agree with what you are doing, so that's very positive," said the Swansea manager.
"But for me the most important thing is the present and that's what I am thinking about at the moment.
"I have one more year on my contract after this and my intention is to stay here. Always when I say that people say 'But can you guarantee that 100 per cent?', and I say that no-one can do that.
"In life we don't know what will happen in the future.
"But you can have an intention, and my intention is to stay here next year because I think we have a very interesting team.
