Measles advice sent to all Neath Port Talbot schools
ADVICE on the measles outbreak has been sent to every school in the Neath Port Talbot county.
One of the area's Assembly Members has also urged parents to have their children vaccinated as quickly as possible and to remain vigilant for symptoms. A Neath Port Talbot Council spokesman said advice from Public Health Wales had been circulated to every school in the county, including parts of the Swansea and Amman Valleys.
"So far we have only had phone calls from two schools seeking advice," said the spokesman. "This would seem to suggest the problem is not as prevalent in Neath Port Talbot as it is in other areas."
Aberavon AM David Rees said he was very concerned at the large number of reported cases of measles.
