MAGICAL tale Aladdin will be performed by Briton Ferry Little Theatre this month.

The group will be hitting the stage with the popular panto at the town's community hall between Wednesday, January 23, and Friday, January 25 at 7pm. There will also be an extra performance on Saturday, January 26, at 5pm.

Group spokesman Phil Williams said rehearsals were in full swing. "We have quite a few people involved in the chorus and cast," he said. "There must be around 20 people taking part. We have got two new members who are making their debuts, Heather Thomas, who is playing the Genie and Rory Merson, who is playing Aladdin's brother Laysi. Everyone is working hard.

"The chorus is busy practising their dancing and singing and the cast are in full swing. We are all looking forward to seeing the production in full."
