OLIVER Adair of the Mortgage Advice Bureau in conjunction with Swansea's Dawsons says he too believes there is genuine optimism in the housing market.
The market, he says, is on the move and there are benefits for both first-time buyers as well as more experienced property owners.
"Temperatures have been rising this summer and so have house prices," he adds.
"They are rising so fast, in fact, that the property website Rightmove doubled its forecast for the rest of the year to 4 per cent.
"And with Zoopla reporting rising house prices in every part of Britain in the past three months, the housing market is showing more life than it has in years."
