SWANSEA stage school owner Mark Jermin has flown to Australia to support best friend Charlie Brooks in the hit show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Read Mark's blog here on thisissouthwales as he shares his experiences Down Under.
Tuesday, November 27.
"Today after having the luxury of another lie in (as no one has to make the early hour trip to the jungle) the rest of us watch the show live from the hotel and are delighted to see Charlie do her second bush tucker trail with former Dr Who star Colin Baker.
"We all wince and look through squinted eyes as Charlie seems to enjoy the adrenaline rush as she pops her hand into the unknown 'deadly chambers'.
"We wait in the hotel in anticipation of taking part in the show - we will find out if this is going ahead and ponder this over an amazing breakfast in the hotel's lavish dining room.
"Feeling very stuffed after our gourmet breakfast, I catch up on emails in the lobby and people watch over my laptop. I really enjoy this part of the day as there is always something going on - its a hive of activity.
"The camera crews have multiplied as one crew follow Limahl and his partner for the ITV 'Coming out' show which is transmitted after series. This centres around the stars experience on the 'outside'. The interview takes place poolside with the hotel as a backdrop.
"Linda Robson is preparing to appear on ITV 's Loose Women and Colin and his wife Marian arrive with the usual lights, camera, action which is a daily ritual at the same time each day after the eviction.
"Marian had expressed to us a few days prior that she felt Colin was ready to 'come home' and I smile as the couple clutch each other as the pose for photos, lovingly gazing at each other.
"I pop to the poolside to top up the tan and one of the celeb producers announce a game they have devised for tomorrow's show which will involve some friends and family so the secret is revealed!
"The celebs will take part in a risk-type game where they can win some comfort and cuddles from a loved one. Charlie's daughter Kiki is the obvious choice as Charlie has expressed on the show how she misses her little girl. So Kiki and her Grandma Roe could be a possible prize, hidden within a box on the show. Roe is a really jolly character and the prospect of her being hidden in a box on this game show is a real style trail!
"We pop to a local shopping mall in the afternoon before dinner and afterwards head to bed as we have another early morning ahead with morning calls and then the much awaited game - will Charlie risk it and win a cuddle or her family!?"
