Manselton gardener Johnathan Evans, 22, admits thefts
A MANSELTON man has admitted three counts of theft.
Jonathan Thomas Evans, 22, of Brondeg Terrace, pleaded guilty to stealing two cycles, a stair gate and a swing belonging to Zoe Louise Davies on April 18 in front of Llanelli magistrates.
The self-employed landscape gardener also admitted taking a gearbox belonging to Sarah Lloyd and stealing 10 wheel hubs belonging to Islwyn Howells in Llanddowror on May 3.
Stuart John, for Evans, said his client's friends told him they were dealing in scrap and he went with them, but he didn't know they were acting dishonestly.

Mr John said: "He accepts his culpability and when challenged by the one of the owners he offered money to avoid police prosecution, he didn't know the full scale of things."
Magistrates ordered Evans to pay £950 compensation, £150 court costs and he must also undergo 150 hours' unpaid work.
