Manifesto for elderly
OLDER people must not suffer in the current economic climate, Age Cymru has said.
Age Cymru will be delivering its "Local Election 2012 – Age priorities for local government" manifesto at its stand at the Labour Party Conference in the Swalec Stadium in Cardiff.
The charity's head of policy and public affairs Graeme Francis said: "The 2012 local authority elections come at a time of financial constraint and cutbacks for local government.
"We need to make sure that every community in Wales is one in which older people are valued, respected and cared for, have access to services and can take an active part in society."

“I think the pensioners families should make sure that their elderly parents/grandparents are not suffering, don't forget they brought you up and didn't let you struggle alone.
Come on people just visit them once a week and you can always see if they need help even though they will not tell that they do.”
