Manhunt after armed robbery at city restaurant
POLICE have launched a manhunt after a robber believed to be armed with a handgun and wearing a Halloween mask held-up a takeaway.
The attacker burst into the Shar Tandoori in Trallwn, threatened staff and then made-off with cash from the till.
Detective Inspector Darren George of Swansea CID said: "An investigation into the incident has been launched, and I am appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity and witnessed the robbery to come forward.

"Moments after the robbery a gold-coloured Vauxhall Vectra was seen to drive away at high speed along Trallwn Road in the general direction of Peniel Green Road.
"I would urge anyone who can provide information in respect of this car, or anyone who saw this car either before the incident or after it, to contact us as a matter of urgency."
The robbery happened around 10.45pm on Thursday night.
The suspect is described as 5ft 7in tall, of a medium build, and wearing a black hooded top and a black plastic Halloween mask with white colouring around the eyes, nose and cheeks.
