Managing director of Welsh Water, Nigel Annett, steps down
THE managing director of Welsh Water is standing down after more than 20 years with the business.
Nigel Annett was one of the founders of Glas Cymru, a not-for- profit company which acquired Welsh Water in 2001.
Mr Annet will stand down in March 2014.
Glas Cymru chair Bob Ayling praised the outgoing director and said: "Under his leadership, the company has been transformed into one of the best in the sector, and when Nigel leaves Welsh Water in 2014, his successor will inherit one of the finest teams in the UK."
