Man took own life
A MAN with long-term mental health problems decided he was beyond help and took his own life.
Philip Alexander Becher , of Dythel Park, Trimsaran, was found hanged at his home on September 1.
An inquest into the 71-year-old's death, heard that Mr Becher had discharged himself from a mental health ward the day before he died.
Carmarthenshire coroner Mark Layton said a suicide note was found at the house.

He said: "He was not receptive to the advice from mental health services and was of the opinion that he did not require any further help.
"For years, Mr Becher suffered from mental health problems.
''The evidence clearly suggests he intended to end his life because he was beyond medical help."
The hearing was told there was no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved and there were no suspicious circumstances.
Mr Layton concluded that Mr Becher had killed himself by hanging.
