Man shouted racist abuse at train station worker
A MAN who racially abused a station worker at Swansea train station has been fined by magistrates.
Dean Thomas, 36, shouted racist abuse at Gerome Gomes as he was working for Arriva Trains Wales at the station on December 6.
Thomas admitted committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
Mr Gomes approached Thomas after he was told he had been involved in the theft of bike from a platform earlier that day.

As Mr Gomes went to get help from an officer from British Transport Police, he asked Thomas, of Neath Road, Swansea, who the bike belonged to.
Thomas then began to sing reggae songs towards him and answered, in an afro-Carribean accent "it's mine sir," prosecutor Anwen Evans told Swansea magistrates. As an officer approached him, Thomas shouted a racist term at Mr Gomes.
Thomas then apologised to magistrates.
He was fined £85, told to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
