Man pulled from car during flood
A MAN was rescued from his car after it became trapped in flood water.
Fire crews and paramedics were called to the vehicle on the main Kidwelly to St Ishmael Road just before 9pm last Wednesday.
It followed torrential rain and flash flooding in the area.
The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Carmarthen and Kidwelly attended.

They launched what the service called a swift water rescue response.
The man was pulled from his car and checked over by paramedics but was found to be fine.
The road was closed for an hour while the rescue took place.
