Man pretended he had incurable brain tumour
A LLANELLI man has admitted defrauding three people by pretending he had an incurable brain tumour.
Gareth Wyn Francis, aged 30, of Clos Cilsaig in Dafen in Llanelli, pleaded guilty to defrauding Michael Morgan, Pastor John Ifion Watkins and Melanie Coombs, all from Ammanford and the surrounding area.
Francis admitted the charges, which during a hearing at Swansea Crown Court.
He had been charged with other offences of fraud, totalling £28,000 but the prosecution accepted his pleas to the three above charges.
He is due to be sentenced on October 18.
