Police launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of the youngsters on Tonna Road last week.

Mr Thomas's mother, Joanne, paid tribute to the former Maesteg Comprehensive School pupil from Caerau. She said: "Thomas was a loving, caring, son, brother, uncle and grandson. He would show a kindness for anyone if he could and sometimes this has gone unnoticed.

"Thomas loved life and will be sadly missed by his family and friends."

Meanwhile, Mr Harris remains at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.
