Man hurt in Mumbles pier fall
A MAN has been taken to hospital after a fall from Mumbles pier.
It is thought the unnamed male was working on the Victorian structure yesterday afternoon when he fell around 40 feet into the sea below.
He was pulled out of the water by a rescue boat belonging to BAM Nuttall, which is tasked with carrying out the £2.5 million revamp of the 113-year-old pier.
A spokesman for the contractors confirmed that a man had fallen from Mumbles pier into the water and had been picked up and taken to hospital.
