Man goes looking for work - on a Swansea roundabout
A SWANSEA man was so desperate to find work he launched a roadside appeal for rush-hour motorists to help him in his job hunt.
Former bus driver Dillwyn Davies, who has been out of work since August, clutched a sign next to the roundabout in Fforestfach, Swansea, appealing for job offers.

The 61-year-old dad-of-two, of Parkhill Terrace, Treboeth, has been out of work since August and has had no joy in finding a new post.
Mr Davies, who was sat in a chair holding a sign saying, 'I am looking for a job', along with his name and phone number, won the support of drivers who beeped their horns as they drove by.

He said he came up with the idea after remembering a jobseeker in Lancashire finding work within 24 hours of doing the same thing.
He said: "I am optimistic of finding work — but of course I will come back here again if I have to.
"I've applied for three to four jobs as I'm not au fait with filling in online applications.
"But I haven't had any success so far."
