Man faces taser and drugs charge
A PENLAN man has appeared in court facing three charges, including one of possessing a taser without authority.
Jamie Thomas, aged 26, of Heol Cadifor, faces one charge of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.
It is alleged on April 12 he had 206g of meow meow at his home.
The second charge alleges he had acquired, used or had criminal property, namely £23,010 in bank notes.
The third alleges he had possession, without the authority of the Secretary of State, of a weapon capable of discharging a noxious liquid, gas or electricity, namely a taser.
Thomas, who was represented by Steve Burnell at Swansea Magistrates' Court entered no pleas to any of the charges.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction and said the matter would have to be heard at Swansea Crown Court on September 6.
Thomas was given unconditional bail until that date.
