He said three young girls and a boy were sat on a bench in Red Street when they saw the defendant walk past them.

Stephens made an inappropriate comment which prompted one of the girls to tell him to go away.

He then walked off along Lammas Street.

Mr Pritchard Jones said: "The youngsters also left the bench and headed along Lammas Street.

"When they got to the lane entrance Stephens was there and there was a further exchange of words, during which one of the girls told him to 'get a grip'."

Mr Vaughan added that at this point Stephens proceeded to expose himself before turning and urinating against the wall of the Lane.

Defence solicitor David Williams told the court that the facts of the case were accepted by his client and added no further details.

Mr Williams asked the magistrates bench to adjourn sentencing for reports to be made on Stephens.

Chairman of the bench, Arwel Davies, told Stephens a report would be produced by the probation service. The case was adjourned for three weeks when Stephens will be sentenced.

He was granted conditional bail and told to co-operate with the probation service in their preparation of the report.

Stephens, of Observatory Avenue, Milford Haven, will reappear at the town's magistrates court on Wednesday, September 19.
