MAN who had been to the pub for a drink at lunchtime was found to be over the drink-drive limit.

The 27-year-old was also only a leaner driver and did not have L-plates, although he did have a passenger, magistrates heard.

He was stopped after driving away from the park and ride site at Nantyci, Carmarthen, on February 7.

Ashleigh James Minton, of Llanybri, near Llansteffan, pleaded guilty to driving without a proper licence, without insurance and over the drink drive limit.
