A MAN has been arrested after a car crash in Burry Port.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended the incident in Gwscwm Road, which involved only one car, just before 8pm last Wednesday.

A police spokeswoman said: "A 45-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs. He has been bailed pending further inquiries."

A fire service spokeswoman said one crew from Llanelli had attended and made the vehicle safe.
