Man arrested for attempted murder following New Year 'incident' in Mayhill
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in a house in Mayhill.
Three people were rushed to hospital with what are thought to be knife wounds following the early morning disturbance.

Police were last night given more time to question a 43-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident.
Officers were called to the house in Townhill Road at around 3.35am on New Year's Day following what officers describe as a "serious incident" which left two men — aged 44 and 24 — and a 39-year-old-woman with injuries.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: "All three were taken to Morriston hospital for treatment — the two men remain in hospital whilst the woman has been discharged. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody at Swansea Central police station."
