Man in Laugharne accident airlifted to Morriston Hospital.

 A MAN has been airlifted to hospital, following a road traffic collision in Laugharne this morning.

The 28-year-old was treated for facial injuries at the scene in the township, before being transferred to Morriston Hospital for specialist care via air ambuance.

Crews were called to the scene at 11.30am.

A spokesman for Wales Air Ambulance, said: "The helicopter was able to get the patient from Laugharne to Morriston hospital in 10 minutes."

The accident was the second call out for crews this morning, following an incident on the A40 between Carmarthen and St Clears, involving a single vehicle.
