Make a date for race day challenge
KEEN runners across Llanelli and further afield are limbering up ahead of the town's half marathon.
Started in 2006, the 13-mile challenge has grown in popularity to become the second largest running event in Wales.
Tim Gasser, organiser of the race, said runners from far and wide would head to Llanelli on March 3 to take part.
He said: "We're hoping to attract 3,000 competitors. We even have people from Ireland, Sweden, France and there's a team from Belgium."

The course will start and finish at the Parc y Scarlets stadium for the first time.
"It shows what's on offer with the beautiful areas we have in Llanelli," said Mr Gasser.
"There will also be a fun run — mums dads, grandparents and youngsters can run a mile around the stadium.
"All proceeds from that will go to charity as well as a large percentage of the funds we raise from the entry fees." he said.
