Magical and idyllic setting
I READ in the Evening Post about the Oxwich Bay Hotel. Having got married in the marquee last August, I feel there are a couple of issues that are very interesting.
Having lived in Swansea all of our lives, one of the most important things when picking a wedding venue was being close to the beach.
The Oxwich Bay is the only hotel which offers this facility anymore. We would have loved to have the option of getting married in the old Caswell Bay Hotel (as my parents did) or the old Osbourne Hotel or indeed the Langland Court Hotel, but these hotels no longer exist.
We had the most fantastic day, we were very lucky with the weather but even if we hadn't have been, the setting would still have been amazing.

It would be a very big shame if people could not invite family and friends to celebrate at a venue which captures the beauty that Swansea and Gower have to offer.
